Mallory Murray was born and raised in Charlevoix, Michigan. She attained a degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from Michigan State University in 2018.

Growing up in a rural area and participating in several organizations such as Global Brigades, MSU Make-A-Wish Club and The Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities, has only strengthened her desire to continue to serve underserved populations throughout her professional career.

After graduation, she worked in an assisted living home and in dermatology surgery. Those experiences expanded her medical knowledge and understanding of how to best care for patients especially when they are most vulnerable. Battling cancer herself throughout PA school has provided her with a perspective and an adapted mentality that will help shape her into a better provider. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, yoga, and spending as much time up north on the lake as she can.

She is honored and grateful to be a recipient of the Lara Rutan Memorial Scholarship that will support her in her journey of becoming a PA-C.
